Renesas Introduces the ISL81806 Dual Synchronous Buck Controller for GaN Applications
Renesas launched the ISL81806 synchronous buck controller supporting GaN, officially opening the pattern of low-voltage GaN applications. The application of low-voltage GaN is simplified through the integrated GaN driver inside the chip. It allows GaN devices to be applied like traditional silicon MOS, reducing the number of circuit devices and reducing the design difficulty.
The Renesas ISL81806 can be used not only in high-performance applications such as servers, but also in USB PD3.1 chargers or outdoor power supplies. Take advantage of the performance advantages of GaN to reduce the size of buck circuits, increase the power density of chargers, or reduce heat dissipation requirements to achieve competitive designs.
INJOINIC launched IP6566 fast charging car charger chip, integrated VBUS switch tube
INJOINC IP6566 provides a more integrated solution for fast charging car chargers, and a single-chip complete solution simplifies the design of fast charging car chargers. Manufacturers can use a single chip to design dual-port 20W fast-charging car chargers, or use two chips to design dual-port 40W. Highly integrated chips make the design better.
IP6566 has complete and comprehensive protections, the input supports 40V withstand voltage, and the data pin supports 30V withstand voltage, which can effectively improve the reliability of applications in complex situations. The VBUS switch tube and current sampling resistor are integrated inside the chip, which simplifies the external circuit and simplifies product preparation. The fully integrated solution effectively copes with the shortage of chips.
